PEACOCKS

"The Peacocks," comes from the original name of the ground’s land: The Old Peacock Ground. It was owned by Bentley’s Brewery and sat directly across from the The Old Peacock pub. While "The Whites" represents their modern era of dominance, "The Peacocks" is the nickname that ties them to their physical roots in Beeston.
