CHERRIES

This nickname is rooted in the physical landscape of the club’s original home. When the team moved to Dean Court in 1910, the stadium was built on the former Cooper-Dean estate, which was famous for its vast, sprawling cherry orchards. The fruit wasn't just local produce; it was the defining landmark of the ground's perimeter.
